Hope started preschool (Early Childhood Special Education) on Monday, January 16th. She is in Mrs. Otto's morning class (for those that picked up on it, yes, that's Hope's gramma). We didn't know how that was going to go...here is a note from the first few days
"Hope may try to tell you she didn't get the snack helper job she wanted today. She cried hard right before going into language group, but settled down and did join the group. It's a hard lesson every kid learns when starting school! I think she was less happy today----she's figuring out that she can't just play--and the kids often feel they don't get enough play time! She did a great job completing her projects--we colored and put 5 buttons on a coat, and then cut out parts of a ship and added 5 dots for portholes. She really gets the concept stuff. She is also working hard at learning to use alternate arms and legs when doing the alligator crawl."
